Acoustic Desk Screens
Where are FRONTIER® Acoustic Desk Divider Screen used?
FRONTIER® Acoustic Desk Divider Screens are typically found in modern, open plan offices and call centers where noise can be very overwhelming and distracting.
This is often exacerbated by the lack of soft furnishings which typically absorb noise echoes. Acoustic screens are designed to reduce sound reverberation around a space, minimising echoes and absorbing noise to create a more productive working environment.
What are the FRONTIER® Acoustic Panels made from?
The core of these acoustic panels a 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore to which 2 x 2.5mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) faces are glued (one on either side). Essential to the efficacy of these acoustic screens is the layer of 18mm-thick sound absorbing foam which is added before the final finishing Maclfex 182 woven fabric. Each desk divider is finished with a 30mm thick full aluminium frame in white or silver.

Desk mounted screens up to 1800mm wide are supplied with 2x colour matched sliding brackets; screens over 1800mm wide are supplied with 3x clamps.
The clamps can be moved to any position along the bottom of the aluminium frame. This enables you to avoid any obstructions such as table frames or legs. Simply position your screen clamps and tighten the grub screws to secure.

If you are not linking the desk screens; the PVC strip can be inserted into the aluminium frame edge to provide a flush finish.
