Display Boards

The terminology is often interchanged, which can be confusing! Generally speaking, Display Boards tend to be freestanding and constructed from individual folding panels for use at exhibitions, office and school presentations, craft fairs etc. They are likely to be portable and easy to assemble and take down. Display panels often have either a PVC or aluminium frame, and can be bespoke printed with your own branding for exhibitions or showrooms.

Traditionally, notice boards have been wall-mounted displays that are fixed and permanent and used for notices, bulletins and information points in corridors, staff rooms etc. Notice boards typically have either a wooden or aluminium frame or are frameless, and have a fabric covering over a pinnable core panel. They can also be magnetic or have a whiteboard surface.

This is how we define our products, however, other businesses may class them differently, so as such it is not a definitive definition because a product can often be classed as both. A pinnable display board on wheels can, after all, be either a notice board or a display board!

Our folding display stands are not recommended for outdoor use and should not be in contact with water. Our folding panels and desktop boards are designed for indoor and office use only.

For outdoor displays, please select from our external noticeboards and weather shield displays. These products are designed for outside use in all weather.

The panels on our standard display boards are suitable for the occasional use of pins, however, we recommend using a hook & loop fastener such as Velcro to attach posters to the boards. This is because our standard display panels are constructed from a honeycomb board so are not self-healing like other pulp materials. Using a solution such as Velcro will allow quick and easy changes to your displays and increase the longevity of your display boards.

We do sell a range of pinnable display boards. These boards are not self-healing, but are manufactured with a thicker construction board and are more durable than our standard display stand range.

Our wall-mounted notice boards can be used with pins and staples and are manufactured with a self-healing internal board.

Absolutely, yes; our display panels are double-sided, as are our tabletop displays. Please select the colour you prefer on the product page.

Royal blue / Grey is our standard colour for the next day delivery display boards. Panels can be upholstered in 6 luxury nylon loop fabric colours.

Our display boards are available in multiple colours. Blue, Red, Grey, Green and black are the most popular colours but vibrant orange, lime green etc can work well in modern offices and contemporary interiors for wall displays.

Bespoke colours and printing solutions for branding are also available – please contact us for more information.

Our display boards are manufactured from recyclable materials but we don’t market them as ‘green’ or eco-friendly. On our standard display panels, the internal board is a honeycomb cardboard, the fabric is a recyclable polyester.

Fabric is upholstered to the board using a water-based adhesive. Frame borders and edging are either PVC or aluminium. For recycling, separate the materials to allow correct sorting, recycling and disposal.

Our display boards and display panels come with either a 1, 2 or 5-year warranty against manufacturing defect.
