FRONTIER® Screens For Offices

The FRONTIER® office screens are a versatile and practical range of partitions and dividers designed to offer offices and other workplaces a complete solution. The range includes free standing and desk mounted partitions all finished with a robust, yet minimalistic aluminium frame for a uniformed look.

Any two office screens from the FRONTIER® range can be linked together to create desk cubicles, small meeting rooms, private offices or even learning spaces within larger, open-plan room layouts.

The fabric office partitions are upholstered in Maclfex fire-rated fabric in a range of colours. Their primary function is to divide up large office spaces into smaller segments for private working, either via floor standing screens or desk dividers. They incorporate a tool rail within the aluminium profile that enables office accessories to be hooked on to the screens. 

Within the range of FRONTIER® screen for offices, we have acoustic screens with a layer of acoustic foam for additional soundproofing. Offering the same functionality as fabric screens, they also mute sound reverberation to help you create a quieter, more peaceful office for productive working.

Designed for use in hospitals and medical centers, the FRONTIER® anti microbial screens are covered with high-grade vinyl that is treated with an anti-microbial additive. Available in a range of colours, these opaque panels are ideal for use in medical environments as they naturally repel bacteria but are also very easy to keep clean and sanitised. As a result, they are also a practical choice for social distancing screens in offices where privacy is also desired.

TheFRONTIER® part-glazed office screens have a lower fabric screen with a glazed acrylic or glass top panel. This makes them an ideal combination, a cross between a standard fabric screen and a social distancing screen. The lower fabric panel offers privacy, while the glazed section allows light to travel through. Available in both straight and curved freestanding floor panels.

FRONTIER® is the name of our range of specially designed partition screens; including fabric, part-glazed, acoustic and medical screens, available in both freestanding and desk mounted.

Each partition screen is finished with a 30mm thick full aluminium frame that can be linked to any screen from within the FRONTIER® range.

FRONTIER® office screens can be used to build custom work pods or simply to divide up large banks of desks within an open-plan office. The minimalistic design is both sleek and versatile allowing you to use them in any setting where a partition or divider is needed. 

FRONTIER® Office Screens have an internal panel construction of 2 x 2.5mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) faces that are glued (using water based adhesive) around 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore. Each panel is finished with a 30mm squared, aluminium frame that surrounds the complete screen. 

Our fabric panel screens have a layer of Macflex 182 fabric upholstered on either side. This is available in 8 fabric colour options. The acoustic screens have a layer of 18mm thick acoustic foam within the core of the screen to help absorb excess office noise. 

Our FRONTIER® medical screens have a layer of anti-microbial vinyl that makes them specifically suited for healthcare environments. 

Transparent panels, such as the fully glazed and part-glazed screens are made from a choice of Perspex® or toughened safety glass. 

 

In order to judge how effective the FRONTIER® acoustic screens are, you must first understand how this is measured. The effectiveness of all modern acoustic panels or partitions is measured using an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) number - an average rating of how much sound an acoustic product can absorb. The results range from 0 (completely ineffective at absorbing sound) to 1 (totally soundproof) - ie, the higher the NRC number, the more effective the product is. 

The FRONTIER® acoustic screens are manufactured with a layer of 18mm-thick sound absorbing acoustic foam between the internal board and the outer fabric finish. This acoustic foam is tested by SRL to BSEN ISO 354, and its NRC (Noise reduction coefficient) inferred result from SRL is 0.43 (based upon test reports 1306-1040 to 1042 and C/23213/T01). 

Another factor that will affect the effectiveness of the FRONTIER® acoustic screens is the surroundings. The size of the room, number of people within the room, hard or soft furnishings and floor can all have an impact on the effectiveness of the FRONTIER® acoustic panels.

Yes, you can join multiple FRONTIER® office screens together in a number of different configurations.

With every FRONTIER® office screen, we supply two linking strips; these enable you to connect two screens together in a straight line to form a continuous office partition. 

In addition, we offer a junction post that can join 2, 3 or 4 panels together in 90-degree increments in a t-shape or x-shape. The junction post is ideal for linking multiple screens of a bank of desks. 

Linking FRONTIER® office screens is really easy and fast. To join, simply align the two panels and insert the linking strips into the aluminium frame extrusion, which then sits flush within the frame to create a neat finish. 

FRONTIER® Office screens can be used for social distancing within the workplace as they form barriers between people, blocking the travel of potentially infectious respiratory droplets from person-to-person, effectively helping to slow the spread of sicknesses such as Coronavirus, seasonal flu or norovirus. 

Within the range, we offer fully glazed desk screens and part-glazed free standing office screens. Both of these solutions have a wipeable Perspex® surface that can be regularly maintained and sanitised to prevent the spread of infection. 

The FRONTIER® range also includes anti-microbial, vinyl-covered partitions. They are upholstered with specially treated vinyl designed to minimise bacteria and the build-up of microbes and prevent odours. The FRONTIER® medical screens are ideal for use in medical facilities or working environments where social distancing is needed. 

Yes, the FRONTIER® Anti-Microbial Vinyl screens are ideal for medical use. The healthcare grade vinyl used in their construction is treated with an anti-microbial additive that works to repel microbes and prevent odors from building up.
