Office Dividing Screens can be used for a wide range of different purposes within an open-plan office; from dividing up an open-plan space into smaller work areas to ensuring privacy and a quiet work environment by partitioning up banks of desks. However, divider screens are not only used in offices, they are used in schools, universities, colleges, reception areas, call centres, libraries, hospitals and many other places.

Many contemporary office, retail and education spaces are open-plan; the lack of internal walls or cubicles mean that these can be very distracting environments in which to work. Selecting the right office dividers to install in your workplace can create bespoke meeting spaces, aid concentration and even protect sickness from spreading amongst co-workers.

In response to the UK Government and WHO guidelines for controlling the COVID-19 pandemic, we developed a range of Social Distancing Screens and Guards to help create safer working environments, maximising employee and customer protection. These screens are made from Perspex® acrylic or safety glass with aluminium frames for a finish that’s easy to wipe clean and keep sanitised to help prevent the spread of virus droplets and germs. Their clear, transparent finish also allows light to travel through the office, maintaining a bright and airy work environment that’s good for boosting morale.

Whichever material you choose, we sell a range of freestanding floor screens (with or without lockable castor wheels) that can be easily moved into place to create break rooms, meeting spaces or team areas within an open-plan office. Also available is a collection of framed or frameless desk divider screens in both fabric panels or glass & acrylic partitions, which create a sense of peace and privacy for busy working banks of desks. The type of material you choose for your office divider screen will depend on what purpose you wish the partition to serve.

Our standard fabric screens are a low-cost option for installing office dividers. They are available in freestanding, mobile and desk divider styles in a variety of sizes, a range of fabric colours, and while all of our fabric screens are suitable for use with Velcro, you can order with the option to have pinboard material included so you can use them with pins or staples for display purposes.

Our acoustic office screens are thicker and made with sound-absorbing materials to help reduce office noise pollution. We recommend these screens for use in busy, noisy working environments such as open plan offices or call centres, where you would like to introduce a more peaceful and productive setting. Our acoustic screens are available as freestanding, mobile, desk divider or curved panels (our curved panels can be purchased as kits to form s-shaped walls and meeting pods), a range of fabric colours, and are suitable for use with pins or Velcro for display purposes.

Our Perspex® acrylic and glass office dividers are recommended where social distancing measures are required. These materials are easy to keep clean and sanitise, meaning they help to maintain a safe and healthy working environment when wiped down regularly. Developed specifically to help businesses cope with the rise of COVID-19 in the workplace, these office dividers are available in a wide range of different shapes and sizes to suit offices, schools, retail outlets, receptions, medical facilities, care homes, hospitality venues and many more locations.

All of our deliveries are to ground floor only. Larger quantity orders may be delivered on a pallet – this is kerbside delivery only. Unpacking, pallet disposal and moving of screens cannot be undertaken by our drivers – all protective packaging needs to be disposed of or recycled by the recipient. Please ensure you have adequate facilities and staff in place to accept office divider deliveries. 

The exception to this is where Glazed or Partially Glazed Meeting Pods have been ordered. In this case, we recommend utilising our expert installation teams to uphold the product guarantee (additional cost).

Illnesses such as Coronavirus and seasonal flu are spread through infectious droplets which spread from person-to-person. Wearing face masks helps to prevent this spread, but installing quality social distancing screens makes an even bigger difference.

Firstly, a Perspex® acrylic or glass office divider will form a transparent barrier between people, so infectious droplets will be stopped by the panel rather than travelling towards the other person.

Secondly, these materials are non-porous and very easy to clean, so wiping them regularly with antibacterial or diluted bleach solutions will remove all traces of virus particles, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

To ensure you receive the correct size of desktop partition, please measure the width and depth of the top of your desk prior to ordering. The width will be the longest side and will be where your desktop attaches to along the back of the office desk. This will be the total width of the desk, normally 1400mm, 1600mm or 1800mm. The depth is how deep the desk is from the wall to where you sit. Depending on the construction of your desk, please also measure the thickness of the desktop as this will determine which clamp you will need to secure the screen to the desktop. 

Please check for obstructions such as legs and supporting structures that may require a deeper clamp than just the thickness of the wood used for the desk.
