White boards can only be used with dry-wipe style pens or markers. We sell a white board accessory pack which includes dry-wipe pens, an eraser as well as cleaning & conditioning sprays to keep your white board in excellent condition. Or you can purchase a set of dry-wipe markers.

After each use, wipe your white board with a dry-wipe eraser. We then recommend using our whiteboard cleansing and conditioning sprays to keep your board clear and clean ready for the next use.

However, there are many ‘at-home’ remedies for cleaning your whiteboard, including diluted vinegar or rubbing alcohol.

It happens all the time; someone has accidentally used a permanent marker on your whiteboard rather than the proper dry-wipe marker. But there are simple tricks to try to remove this.

First, try colouring completely over the permanent marker with your dry-erase marker, then wiping this firmly away while the ink is still wet. Often, this can bring away the permanent marker with it.

If this doesn’t work, you can try 99% rubbing alcohol to remove the stain. This is also a popular method of giving your whiteboard a thorough clean. Be warned, it will require a bit of elbow grease!
