Where are part glazed office screens used?
Part glazed office screens are a practical solution for offices and open-plan workspaces. Fabric panel screens are excellent for offering privacy on the lower half, usually the seated area behind the screen. Whilst the upper part, typically Perspex® panels are helpful for social distancing measures as they are easy to wipe clean, and they keep your office bright and airy as they allow light to pass through making small spaces feel bigger.
They can be used to separate teams, communal areas, meeting spaces or mini cubicles.
How are FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screens made?
The FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screens feature an upper panel made from genuine Perspex® in frosted/clear or clear toughened safety glass. This section starts roughly 800mm from the bottom of the screen.
The lower panel is a traditional fabric office screen made using a 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore covered with 2 x 2.5mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) faces upholstered in a layer of fire-rated Maxlfex fabric (in 8 colour options) on both sides. Each office partition is finished with a 30mm thick full aluminium frame in silver or white.
What does fire-rated mean?
A ‘fire-rated’ fabric has been tested in accordance with a number of standards, guaranteeing minimal risk of it catching fire in your office. Macflex -182 fabric used on FRONTIER® screens is certified to BS 476 Part 7 Class 1; BS EN 1021-1:2014 (cigarette); BSEN 13501-1 Adhered Class B,s2, d0; BS EN 13501-1 Un-adhered Class D, s1, d2.
Is my FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screen supplied with accessories?
Each FRONTIER® office screen divider includes 2x PVC strips, which can be used as finishing strips (when not linked) or they can be used as rigid inline linking strips if you want to join two screens together.
A junction post is available for 90-degree linking or connecting 2, 3 or 4 screens in a cross or T-configuration.
In addition, we include 2x stabilising feet or round disc for stability.
What sizes of FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screen are available?
These freestanding part-glazed screens are available in four different height options: 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm, as well as six width options: 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm.
How do I clean FRONTIER® part-glazed office screens?
We recommend vacuuming your fabric partitions regularly to remove dust and lightweight debris. In addition, you can wipe them with a damp cloth using soap and water (or use upholstery shampoo) or for stubborn stains try a steam clean or dry clean.
The Perspex® panels can be wiped down with antibacterial wipes, standard household cleaners, or diluted bleach solutions to remove any traces of dirt, viruses or bacteria.
