Mobile Perspex® Screens

Mobile Perspex® screens are not only used in offices, they are helpful in schools, universities, colleges, reception areas, call centres, libraries, hospitals and many other places. Our collection of Perspex® screens on wheels covers a broad range of different uses.

Installing a range of practical, moveable Perspex® acrylic or glass screens is a flexible way of introducing divided workspaces into an open-plan office. Many contemporary offices are open plan; the lack of internal walls mean that these work environments can become crowded and distracting places. Installing the right mobile office screens for your workplace can create bespoke meeting spaces, encourage social distancing and even prevent illnesses (such as Coronavirus or seasonal flu) from spreading between co-workers.

If you’re looking to maximise the flexibility of your investment, choosing mobile screens on wheels is a great way to ensure that your office space can adapt with the changing needs of your business and workforce. All of our mobile office screens are supplied with lockable castor wheels, meaning you can easily roll them around your workplace and fix them temporarily in place wherever you need them.

Our Perspex® acrylic and glass mobile divider screens have been designed to segment an office or other busy environment while allowing light to pass through space, for a more open and brighter feel. They have become an essential part of workplace furniture during the COVID-19 pandemic as government regulations mandate the installation of social distancing measures. Set on lockable castor wheels, these practical and hygienic mobile Perspex® acrylic or glass screens can be moved around to implement social distancing measures on a flexible basis depending on your requirements. They are easy to sanitise by wiping down regularly with antibacterial wipes or a diluted bleach solution.

Furthermore, in response to the ever-changing needs of medical facilities, care homes and schools, we have broadened our range of mobile Perspex® screens to include bespoke solutions such as our Medical Vaccination Screen on Wheels to keep people safe during the pandemic.

Our range of mobile Perspex® partitions is broad and covers all kinds of different requirements, but if you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for, our manufacturing capabilities allow us to create any bespoke screen depending on what your needs might be. Just give us a brief on what your layout is and what you are trying to achieve, and we can design a solution for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

The type of material you choose for your office divider screen will depend on what purpose you wish the partition to serve.

Our range of social distancing screens has been developed in line with the UK Government and WHO mandate to introduce protective measures into workplaces to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus in our communities.

Illnesses such as Coronavirus and seasonal flu are spread through infectious droplets which spread from person-to-person. Wearing face masks helps to prevent this spread, but installing quality social distancing screens makes an even bigger difference.

Our Perspex® acrylic and glass office dividers are recommended where social distancing measures are required. These materials are easy to keep clean and sanitise, meaning they help to maintain a safe and healthy working environment when wiped down regularly. Developed specifically to help businesses cope with the rise of COVID-19 in the workplace, these office dividers are available in a wide range of different shapes and sizes to suit offices, schools, retail outlets, receptions, medical facilities, care homes, hospitality venues and many more locations.

Our mobile Perspex® acrylic and glass social distancing sneeze screens can be easily moved around your workplace as required, and locked into place using the wheel brakes when you have them in the correct position. This makes them a flexible and protective design for social distancing measures.

We sell a wide variety of Perspex® acrylic and glass freestanding office screens in different shapes and sizes. Some of these are mobile versions with lockable castor wheels, others have standing or fixed bases depending on requirements.

If you cannot find the exact mobile Perspex® screen you’re looking for, please Contact Us and our expert team will help you to find the best solution, whether from our existing collections or by going down the bespoke route.

Perspex® acrylic is a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) acrylic which is made from methyl methacrylate monomer (MMA) and trademarked by Lucite International, now Perspex International Ltd. Produced directly from methyl methacrylate monomer, a panel of Perspex® is cast between two sheets of high-quality glass, before being polymerised in specially designed kilns and water baths in a manufacturing process first discovered by scientists in 1934, the year in which the name Perspex® was trademarked.

It has been consistently manufactured commercially since 1938.

Perspex® isn’t a biodegradable substance, so it won’t break down by itself over time. Therefore, you can significantly reduce waste by opting to recycle your panels once they are no longer of use.

Recycling Perspex® acrylic requires specialist handling and equipment, but it can be done. Experts use a technique called ‘pyrolysis’, where the Perspex® is heated to temperatures exceeding 430°C (800°F) and then placed under extreme pressure, altering the chemical and physical structure of the Perspex® and ensuring that no harmful toxins are released during the process.

Our Perspex® GUARDIAN Mobile Screens are available with next-day dispatch (when ordered before 11am).

All of our deliveries are to ground floor only. Larger quantity orders may be delivered on a pallet – this is kerbside delivery only. Unpacking, pallet disposal and moving of screens cannot be undertaken by our drivers – all protective packaging needs to be disposed of or recycled by the recipient. Please ensure you have adequate facilities and staff in place to accept partition screen deliveries.
