All the materials used in manufacturing the screen are hygienic and easy to keep clean and sanitised - essential for maintaining a sterile environment.
This 3-panel screen is made from CNC cut composite aluminium panels with a gloss white finish, inserted into a powder-coated steel frame with a pearl white finish. This combination offers a clean, modern look that works with any kind of decor and equipment. The frames are finished with non-marking castor wheels with braking locks.
A Hygienic Alternative to Curtains or Drapes
Many hospitals and other medical facilities use fabric medical screens or curtains to separate patients, and although these do often have antimicrobial properties (thanks to a silver weave within the fabric), long-term this can degrade and the fabrics can begin to harbour bacteria. In addition, fabric drapes or curtains require frequent washing and laundering, which increases the long-term cost. Similarly, porous materials such as cardboard or wood used as a central panel core can increase the potential of mould or damp to develop, regardless of the outer laminate surface materials. The aluminium gloss panels and powder-coated steel frame are non-porous and can all be easily sanitised to remove all traces of bacteria or viruses - perfect for demanding medical environments.
Mobile & Flexible

The DIGNITY® 3 Panel Screen has castor wheels attached to the frame, with a braking system meaning you can lock it in place securely. Mobile screens add flexibility to hospital wards as they are not constrained to ceiling tracks like privacy curtains or more expensive wall-mounted, permanent solutions.
The DIGNITY® Portable Folding Medical Screens have a concertina-style folding 3-panel system that can be folded flat together for easy storage and transportation. Each panel is 650mm wide, and the entire screen covers a 2m length when fully unfurled, giving privacy for the length of a care bed or ward stretcher.
Practical Uses
The construction of this screen allows you to stick posters or charts to the panels with low-tack tape. The gloss panels are also compatible with wipe board marker pens, allowing you to use this divider as a mobile whiteboard. The frames are magnetic (although the aluminium panels are not).
