Wall Soundproofing Panels
Offices, schools, call centres, colleges, hospitals and training facilities can all be noisy and distracting places that are often not conducive to concentration. In particular, locations with minimal soft furnishings such as carpets or curtains, and open-plan set-ups with few dividing walls, can be incredibly noisy as sound bounces off reflective surfaces like desks, windows and hard floors, bouncing and echoing around the room. One of the easiest ways to stop this phenomenon is to install a series of acoustic wall panels in your office space.
The STRATOS™ acoustic panels, named after the legendary Lancia Stratos rally car, are rectangular in shape and available in two different sizes: 400 x 800mm or 300 x 700mm. These wall baffle tiles are easy to attach to the wall using keyhole hangers or 3M® Command wall strips, and are manufactured using sound-absorbing foam that’s then covered in a layer of fabric. They are lightweight and don’t protrude far from the wall - but are so effective that they reduce reverberation time by up to 70%.
The 3M Command™️ Strips offer more flexibility for mounting and do not require any permanent drilled holes in the wall.
You can fix them in a landscape, portrait or diagonal orientation - and even mix and match the two sizes to create a bespoke design pattern of wall tiles.
