Social Distancing Screens For Shops
Shops and retail outlets are some of the most highly trafficked businesses and require stringent social distancing measures to protect both staff and customers. As set out by the UK Government, all businesses are required to implement social distancing measures, ensuring customers and staff maintain safe distances and use both barriers and PPE to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The XL Displays Freestanding Social Distance Screen for Shops is designed for use across a wide range of retail spaces, including large high-street chains, smaller independent shops, coffee shops, bakeries, small eateries, takeaways and supermarkets.
Intended as protective shields, they can be used alone or linked together to form a longer partition barrier, perfect for queues or encouraging people to keep socially distant in smaller areas.
Manufactured in either clear Perspex® or thermally toughened Safety Glass*, the screen has a 30mm-thick aluminium frame available in either a white or silver finish. Choose between round feet or a T-Bar stabilising base to best suit your needs.
The clear, non-reflective finish of the Floor Standing Retail Screen allows excellent visibility, maintaining an open and light environment and letting both employees and security cameras have an unrestricted view at all times to ensure safety and security is not compromised.
The glass or acrylic surfaces are easy to keep clean – simply sanitise them regularly to maintain a hygienic environment and destroy any lingering germs or virus particles.
Perspex® Screens are available in three heights and three widths.
*Toughened glass, also known as Tempered Glass is four to five times stronger than standard annealed float glass and if broken. disintegrates into small fragments with dulled edges that are less likely to cause injury. Glass has advantages over Acrylic / Perspex as it is far more resilient to scratches, it is easier to clean and keep sanitised and maintain a smear-free finish. Our Safety Glass has been impact tested to British Standard: BS 6206: 1981 - Class A. We source our glass from Pilkington® and Saint-Gobain®.
